Help Us Shape the Sound of Our Season
The Phoenix Theatre Company is growing, and we’re looking for artists who will help us shape its sound.
As we prepare to open our brand-new, state-of-the-art proscenium theatre, complete with a live orchestra pit, we’re expanding our roster of musicians for the 2025/26 season and beyond.
Under the direction of Resident Music Director Kevin Robert White, our musicals range from full-scale Broadway musicals to new works born right here in our Richard P. Stahl Festival of New American Theatre. We offer a range of opportunities for musicians who can move fluidly between genres, styles, and stories.
Whether you’re a seasoned pit veteran or an emerging artist eager to grow in a professional setting, we’d love to hear from you.
Who We Are:
Now in our 106th season, The Phoenix Theatre Company is Arizona’s largest producing regional theatre. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) and a proud member of Theatre Communications Group (TCG) and the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT). We operate under a LORT-D Letter of Agreement with Actors’ Equity Association.
Located in the heart of Phoenix’s Central Arts District, our 14-acre campus includes three theatres, a restaurant and bar, rehearsal halls, and full production facilities on site. We produce 9 to 12 shows a season across multiple spaces, including musicals, plays, new work, and community-driven programming that reflects the breadth and diversity of our audience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Musicians with strong reading skills and a collaborative spirit
- Experience (or interest) in musical theatre performance
- Flexibility across styles (from jazz to rock to classical to contemporary Broadway)
- A desire to be part of a company that values process, artistry, and connection
To Submit:
