About the Show

Before Hamilton, there was In the Heights! Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award-winning musical asks the question: What do you do when your dreams come true?  Set in the neighborhood of Washington Heights,In the Heightsfollows the stories of Usnavi, a bodega owner who cares for his abuela, Claudia, with aspirations of the American dream; Nina, a first-generation college student terrified of letting her community down; and Vanessa, a creative esthetician wanting more for her life than the local salon. Bursting with exhilarating music, heartfelt storytelling and irresistible energy, In the Heights is a joyful celebration of love, community, roots and the paciencia y fe that carry us forward.
