Professional Apprenticeship Program

The Phoenix Theatre Company Professional Apprenticeship Program is designed for aspiring theatre artists to bridge the gap between studying theatre and attaining work experience while under the tutelage of industry professionals. While focusing on a particular field the apprenticeship program also enables the exploration of professional theatre, all while building a network of connections to help jumpstart a professional career.

The Professional Apprentice Program offers practical applications in multiple career fields including Scenic Painting, Properties, Costumes, Lighting, Wardrobe, Sound, and Stage Management. This program is yearlong, starting August/September with flexible start and end dates and offers opportunities for growth in the applicant’s field of concentration.
