Professional Apprenticeship Program
The Phoenix Theatre Company Professional Apprenticeship Program is designed for aspiring theatre artists to bridge the gap between studying theatre and attaining work experience while under the tutelage of industry professionals. ABOUT THE PHOENIX THEATRE COMPANY
The Phoenix Theatre Company, a LOA LORT D Theatre and Arizona’s largest professional regional theatre currently produces shows in two spaces: a 380-seat proscenium space and a 250-seat black box space. Plus, we are in the final phase of completing the 3rd theatre in our campus that will be a 500-seat venue to be completed in the summer of 2025. In addition to producing our own licensed shows (8+ a year), we are starting to partner with Broadway, Off Broadway, and other top regional theater producers to help facilitate New Works and bring them into the New York stages. Located in the heart of the Phoenix Central Arts District close to downtown, our beautiful 14-acre campus also includes a restaurant and bar, rehearsal halls, administrative offices, and costume, scenic, prop, lighting, and paint shops, all on one site.
