‘Ever After’ Brings Broadway Veterans and Rising Talent to The Phoenix Theatre Company Stage

Ever After makes its regional premiere May 6 – June 14, 2026, at The Phoenix Theatre Company, and whether you know the story by heart or are stepping into it for the first time, this musical offers new discoveries. It’s a familiar world, reimagined with a fresh score, a sharper lens, and a heroine defined by independence and self-determination. 

Leading that story is a cast whose combined Broadway credits tell a story of their own. From original Broadway casts to Tony-nominated performances. Here’s a closer look at the talent bringing this story to the stage. 

 

Endebrock Bailee

A Breakout Voice Steps into Danielle: Bailee Endebrock* 

Bailee Endebrock* makes her Phoenix Theatre Company debut in the role of Danielle. Her credits include the Broadway revival and First National Tour of Parade, a production that drew national attention, as well as work at The Goodman Theatre in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It’s a combination of Broadway and regional experience that places her firmly among rising performers to watch. 

 

Gotay Jason

A Broadway Prince with Range: Jason Gotay* 

Jason Gotay also makes his Phoenix Theatre Company debut as Prince Henry. His recent credits include Floyd Collins at Lincoln Center Theater, which earned him a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Featured Performance, and the world premiere of Teeth at Playwrights Horizons. On Broadway, he originated a role in Bring It On: The Musical and played Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. He has also appeared in Gossip Girl on HBO Max and Spoiler Alert for Focus Features. His career spans stage and screen, with credits that continue to build across New York and beyond. 

 

Garrison David

A Stage and Screen Veteran Reimagines da Vinci: David Garrison* 

If you grew up watching Married With Children, Law and Order, The Practice, or The West Wing, you already know David Garrison. On stage, he received a Tony Award nomination for A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine and has appeared on Broadway in WickedTitanicThe Pirates of Penzance, and Torch Song Trilogy, among others. Garrison’s regional credits include a Helen Hayes Award for Merrily We Roll Along at Arena Stage. He brings decades of craft, wit, and presence to the role of Leonardo da Vinci. 

 

Howard Lisa

A Career Built on Broadway Stages: Lisa Howard* 

Lisa Howard originated roles in the original Broadway casts of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and It Shoulda Been You, earning a Drama Desk Award for the former and a Drama Desk nomination for the latter. Her Broadway credits also include South Pacific9 to 5: The MusicalPriscilla, Queen of the Desert, and Escape to Margaritaville, reflecting a career built across a wide range of musicals. Howard’s work extends beyond the stage as well, with film credits including The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 and television appearances on The Gilded Age, The Good Fight, and Madam Secretary. 

 

Macasaet Andrea

From Broadway’s SIX to Phoenix: Andrea Macasaet* as Jacqueline 

Andrea Macasaet brings a Broadway-leading credit to the role of Jacqueline, having starred as Anne Boleyn in SIX. She has performed the role across several major productions, including Chicago Shakespeare Theater, A.R.T., The Ordway, and The Citadel. 

Beyond SIX, she appeared as Mimi Marquez in RENT at Stratford Festival. Her work has also been featured in Philippines Vogue, NYLON Manila, Reader’s Digest Canada, and Glamour. She is a Grammy-nominated and Drama Desk Award–winning performer and a recipient of the 2024 Trailblazer Award from Pinays of Manitoba. 

 

Ever After runs May 6 – June 14 in the Dr. Stacie J. and Richard J Stephenson Theatre.
