A jazzy new musical about the unsung heroines of World War I

The Hello Girls were America’s first female soldiers and part of the Signal Corps during World War 1 – and their unsung history is coming to The Phoenix Theatre Company in a powerful story about strength and determination in the face of inequality. During the war, communication was essential – but calls weren’t getting through fast enough. Cue The Hello Girls: the incredible bilingual women who operated telephones and helped turn the tide of the war – then returned home for a decades-long battle for recognition that’s ongoing today. Remember The Hello Girls in this regional premiere musical!

Selected Mask and Vaccination Required Performances

In an effort to provide those who would feel more comfortable in a fully masked environment with an opportunity to attend our productions, we have designated selected upcoming performances of The Hello Girls as "Mask and Vaccination Required": Tuesday January 25 at 8:00pm, Wednesday January 26 at 8:00pm, and Sunday, January 30 at 3:00pm and 7:30pm.

During these performances, masks and vaccines will be required for all patrons and staff in our lobbies and theatres unless actively eating/drinking. No food or beverages will be allowed in the theatres. Patrons will still undergo the standard temp check at the door but also must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the theatre with their valid ticket. “Fully vaccinated” means the performance date must be at least 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, or at least 14 days after a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine.

Exceptions are being made for children under 12 and people with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. These guests must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the performance start time, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 6 hours of the performance start time.

ASL/Audio Describe Night

Audio Description and American Sign Language Interpretation are available for each production. ASL/Audio Describe Night is Thursday, January 27 for The Hello Girls.
