Nykol DeDreu (she/her) is a Chicago based freelance stage manager, production manager, and educator. Credits include: Blue Man Group (Chicago and the Speechless National Tour), Norwegian Cruise Lines, Polar Express on AmTrak, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and The Futon. From 2002 – 2007 Nykol was the Production Stage Manager here at Phoenix Theatre, managing over 25 productions during that tenure. From 2015 – 2019 she held a full-time post as the head of stage management at Columbia College Chicago, where she currently maintains an adjunct professor position. Additional adjunct credits include Northwestern University and The University of Nebraska Omaha. As the Vice Commissioner of Management, Nykol coordinates the Stage Management Mentorship Program for USITT, the nations’ largest non-profit organization for theatre design and technology professionals.
