Michele Brourman

Michele has been making up songs and singing them since she was three years old. Her best-loved song, “My Favorite Year,” has been recorded by Michael Feinstein, Dame Cleo Laine, Margaret Whiting, Billy Stritch, and frequent collaborator Amanda McBroom. She’s written and produced the songs for 20 animated features for Universal Studios, including the beloved series, “The Land Before Time” and “Curious George,” writing for Reba McIntyre, Michael York, Jean Smart, Olivia Newton-John, and more.  

Her work for the theatre includes Dangerous Beauty, produced at the Pasadena Playhouse, five award-winning short musicals with Sheilah Rae, and the dance and incidental music for the original Broadway production of Working. The winner of the 2019 Bistro Award as Outstanding Songwriter and Musical Director, Brourman has recorded two CDs: Fools and Little Children and The Price of Love.
