María Guadalupe Cruz (She/Her, Él/Ella) is excited to be making her directorial debut in the same place she had her first stage management community theatre debut! Maria has been stage managing at theaters across the valley for the past 6 years. She has her Master's in Legal Studies from ASU and a BA in Organizational Leadership - Project Management. Spotlight is a special place and she is so thankful for this opportunity.  She wants to thank Kenny, Josh, the lighting and sound team and most importantly Spencer, for entrusting her with their beautiful script. She also wants to give a huge shoutout to her cast for going on this journey with her and taking on a show that is so impactful and real today.
