Gregg Hammer (Book/Music/Lyrics, Hymon) is back at his favorite regional theatre after previously starring as Johnny Cash in Phoenix Theatre’s productions of Million Dollar Quartet, Ring of Fire, and the world premiere of Million Dollar Quartet Christmas. Originally hailing from the west coast, Gregg’s poignant storytelling and melodies often remind audiences of the golden era of singer-songwriters. He and his co-writer, Louis Pardo, began writing together while on the National Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, when they penned an ode to the star of the show and Golden Globe nominee, Ted Neeley. As an actor and musician, Gregg has toured over 50 countries while performing in the cast of several hit musicals and Broadway National Tours. He has performed at notable venues including: The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Greek Theater, Hollywood Bowl and his voice can also be heard on attractions at Disney World.
