Cullen Law is thrilled to return to the Phoenix Theatre stage! Cullen was most recently seen in Wonderland (Cheshire Cat/Red Rose) with Childsplay, and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Tommy Allsup) National Tour, which marked his fourth time playing Tommy in the Buddy Holly musical. His recent memorable moments include Lamb of God with the London Symphony Orchestra and a workshop of Broadway-Bound Hollywood Romance directed by Kristin Hanggi (Rock of Ages; Broadway). Cullen will be hitting the road again this fall with Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story National Tour. “Love to Michelle, my Family, and A-Bag!”
Mark is no stranger to the downtown Phoenix theatre scene, having just finished The Brockway Experience at the Hardes Theatre with A/C in August, and is excited to be working on Hedwig with A/C Theatre Company and Phoenix Theatre. Previous productions include Murder Ballad (A/C), Spring Awakening (PT/NNT). Other credits: Tommy, Bat Boy, Blood Brothers (NNT, AriZoni Award: Music Direction). Mark is also the Music Director of bROCKway, Pitches & Tones, Music & Motion and other projects around the valley of the sun. M4 works at Arrowhead Studios as the 1st Call Session Pianist and can be heard on sound recordings worldwide. Alyssa is thrilled to be back at Phoenix Theatre playing this role. Alyssa was last seen at Phoenix Theatre in Beehive. Recent theatre credits include: Evita (Eva Peron), In The Heights (Vanessa), RENT (Mimi), World Premiere Bleeding Love (Lolli). Recent studio credits include: KOTU Klan, OCP Productions, and The Brain. Special thanks and love to C-Bag! Michelle is stoked to be back at Phoenix Theatre in Hedwig as part of The Angry Inch! Most recently at Phoenix Theatre she appeared as Olive Neal in last season’s Bullets Over Broadway. Other Phoenix Theatre credits include: the Festival of New Plays and Musicals, Wizard of Oz, Gypsy, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and Phoenix Theatre for Young Audience’s Peacemaker. Other recent credits include: Wonderland (Childsplay), Much Ado About Nothing (Southwest Shakespeare), and John (Stray Cat Theatre). As a percussionist, Michelle frequently plays in orchestra pits, for concerts, and collaborates with other musicians in the Valley. She holds a BM in Music Theatre Performance from ASU.
Better known abroad as "Cheesy", Daniel (government name) has spent the last three years on tour with the legendary Miracles. He also writes and sings for his original reggae trio, Moonbase. He recently played The Brockway Experience (A/C) and Hands On A Hardbody (ABT). While he is no stranger to playing in the pit, Hedwig and the Angry Inch will be Cheesy's first time as part of a cast and he couldn't be more excited! Vibes alive!
Lauren is pumped to be playing in one of her favorite musicals of all time! Most recently she performed in Childsplay’s Wonderland: Alice’s Rock & Roll Adventure (March Hare/Queen of Hearts). Other production credits around the valley include A/C Theatre Company’s Lizzie (Emma Borden), MET’s Sweeney Todd (Minion), and Stray Cat Theatre’s Heathers The Musical (New Wave Chick). She received her Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University. This is her first show with Phoenix Theatre. She’d like to thank her parents and Whitt for their love, and her two biggest ‘Hed-Heads’: Ryan and Rafidi.
Graduating summa cum laude with degrees in Piano Performance, Music Theory (Sondheim studies) and Music History (Broadway history) from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Miles recently received his Master’s in Musical Theatre/Opera Music Direction at Arizona State University, under the tutelage of Brian DeMaris, Toby Yatso, and Dale Dreyfoos. Miles has worked, conducted, and performed with numerous groups, including the Milwaukee Symphony, the Milwaukee Irish Fest Choir, The Singing Statesman, the UW-Eau Claire Jazz Bands, and The College Light Opera Company. He has performed all over the United States and Europe, including national tours of both Ireland and Portugal. Many thanks to Pasha, the cast and band, Brian, Toby, Dale, and Elyssa.
Caleb is thrilled to once again perform on one of Phoenix Theatre’s many wonderful stages. Caleb’s last roles include Cheech in Bullets Over Broadway, Toxie in The Toxic Avenger, Mickey in Phoenix Theatre’s End of the Rainbow, Enjolras in the coproduction of Les Miserables at Arkansas Repertory Theatre and Phoenix Theatre, Andrew Jackson in Phoenix Theatre’s Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Pirate King in GT Mainstage’s The Pirates of Penzance, and Middle Scrooge in A Christmas Carol with the dearly missed Actors Theatre of Phoenix. Film and TV credits include the Joe Schmo Show 2 and Roland Emmerich’s cult favorite, Who’s The Dummy?. Caleb would also like to tip his hat to his old band, The Instant Classics, that is still tearing it up all over the country.
