Books Alive! is an after-school program that uses the arts to explore and interpret books in new and exciting ways! The program encourages young readers to explore a piece of literature while developing skills in creative thinking, critical analysis, teamwork, and public sharing.
Programming is custom-built for each school or site. This may be a one-time workshop, an after school program, an in-school arts program, or a special event opportunity on-location. With extended Books Alive! programs in schools, Phoenix Theatre may also be able to include a touring production of one of our Phoenix Theatre for Young Audiences shows.
