ST. MARY'S FOOD DRIVE


For one special performance, Saturday, December 5 at 2pm, Greasepaint will be hosting a food drive to benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank. Any patron who donates canned or boxed food items will receive $2 off their tickets to Oliver!  To participate, patrons must bring their donations to the theatre when purchasing tickets the day of the performance.  If you have already purchased your tickets online, you will be given a $2.00 off coupon at the performance to use on any upcoming shows in the season. Help others celebrate the season and enjoy great theatre at the same time!

2009 Greasepaint LIVE Holiday Bazaar

Wednesday December 16th 2009


Greasepaint LIVE is presenting a Holiday Bazaar to raise money for the John Cannon Memorial Scholarship. Scholarship monies go to participants to attend summer camp and for possible scholarships for the Greasepaint LIVE graduating senior members.
 
The Event begins at 6pm at Stagebrush Theatre
When the attendees arrive they will be able to meet local artists and purchase unique holiday gifts. The local artists have agreed to donate 10% of their proceeds to the scholarship fund. The evening will also include facepainters, games for the family, hot beverages and holiday goodies. The show will begin at 6:45 with a storyteller reading the Polar Express and the Greasepaint LIVE presentation will begin at 7pm. The evening will conclude by 8pm.
 
Admission is $10 for the show or anyone is welcome to come and participate in the games and support our local artists. Or just stop by and purchase a hot apple cider on your way home.


 

Greasepaint LIVE! creates opportunities for youth to develop their talents as community leaders and artists while promoting the educational programming of Greasepaint Youtheatre.
 
Participants will:
  • Develop skills and techniques for creating ensemble generated performance material.
  • Expand their knowledge of performance techniques in acting, singing and dancing.
  • Explore environmental theatre and its techniques.
  • Gain leadership experience through performance and public speaking opportunities.
