Mechanix Workshops
provide youth theatre cast members at Greasepaint Youtheatre the tools to make a practical social connection between theatrical performance and real life. Youth that take part in each production are required to attend, as part of their regular rehearsal schedule, up to four workshops that address the themes, ideas and social constructs inherent in the performance material. Mechanix Workshops utilize local experts who provide an interactive approach to delve deeper into the meanings, subtexts and sometimes critical life lessons that the performance material lends.
Mechanix workshops are provided as part of the rehearsal process to all youth cast in a Greasepaint Youtheatre production and are a bonus professional training session free of charge to youth. If you are interested in sponsoring Mechanix Workshops for a production or a season, please contact
