Phoenix Theatre announces it’s selections to be featured in the 2014 Hormel New Works Festival! March 3-16
In its 16th year, The Hormel New Works at Phoenix Theatre continues to foster the development of new works and contribute to the ever expanding voice of the American perspective. From drama to comedy, and musical to play be the first to experience what our nation’s brightest new playwrights have to offer. The new works development process is designed to offer the playwrights objective feedback in which to further strengthen their play or musical. This is accomplished through guided talkbacks after each reading where the audience is asked simple questions in which to respond.
YOU – THE AUDIENCE – is the most important component to the NEW WORKS FESTIVAL!
It is because of our audiences that many of our 70+ new works have gone on to be produced all over the country. THIS IS WHERE THEATRE BEGINS!
