Smugglers by José Záraté (NWF 2012)

Phoenix Theatre fosters the development of new works and contributes to the ever expanding voice of the American perspective. The development process is designed to offer the playwrights objective feedback in which to further strengthen their play.  This is done through guided talkbacks after each reading in which the audience is asked simple questions in which to respond.   The audience is the most important component to the new works festival. It is because of our audiences that many of our 70+ new works have gone on to be produced all over the country. This is where theatre begins!
